Being an Activity Professional isn’t just a job—it’s a calling.

If you’ve ever led a sing-along, sat with a resident over a puzzle, or helped someone create a piece of art they didn’t think they could, you know exactly what we mean.
Every day, activity professionals, caregivers, and senior living teams walk into communities—or into the homes of loved ones—with one goal: to bring joy, engagement, and meaning to older adults. At Activity Connection, we’re proud to walk beside you.
How It All Began
Established in 2003, Activity Connection was born from the very challenges you face today. One of our co-founders was an activity professional who understood the pressure of filling a calendar with meaningful programs for every level of care—while still trying to find time for genuine personal connections. She knew there had to be a better way.
Our other co-founder brought the tech expertise to make that vision a reality. Together, they built a solution—and soon, it became a true family affair. It became a place where you could find ready-to-use, thoughtfully designed resources that save time, spark ideas, and—most importantly—help create those moments that matter.
We’re not just a content provider. We’re a partner who understands your world, because we’ve lived it.
Meet the People Behind the Scenes
We’re more than a company—we’re a collective of passionate people who believe in what you do. Our team is made up of activity professionals, artists, illustrators, writers, editors, customer service experts, print service professionals, designers, Dementia Practitioners, graphic designers, and more. Between us, we bring over 175 years of experience in senior living, life enrichment, and creative program development.
And outside of work? We’re a vibrant mix of personalities and passions—parents and grandparents, fur parents, travelers, gardeners, birders, model kit builders, wildlife supporters, and volunteers. Some of us love cooking, exploring essential oils, and kayaking, while others are into yoga, aviation, paleontology, Comic-Con, or even a little Taylor Swift. These passions fuel our creativity and inspire us to craft activities that feel fresh, human, and joyful.
What Makes Us Different
We’ve stood where you stand. We’ve run morning check-ins, launched memory care programs, juggled calendars, and adapted activities for every kind of need. And we’ve done it with heart.
Here’s how we make your work easier:
- 500+ New Programs Every Month
From themed programs to trivia, crafts, and games, we keep your activity calendar full—no more scrambling for last-minute ideas.
- Inclusive for Every Cognitive Level
Whether your residents are independent or living with brain changes, our resources meet everyone where they are and affirm dignity.
- Made for All Care Settings, No Matter Where You Are
We serve internationally, and whether you’re in assisted living, independent living, skilled nursing, memory care, adult day, or home care—you name it, we’ve got you covered.
- Effortless to Present
Designed for success by anyone: staff, volunteers, or family.
- We Cover All the Bases
Beyond activities, we provide resources for decorating, newsletters, calendars, and CEUs—everything you need to keep you and your programs thriving.
Purpose Over Profit
We know budgets are tight. That’s why we keep membership affordable—so every community, no matter the size, can have access to high-quality, time-saving resources. For less than 55 cents a day, we have you covered!
No community is left behind.
For us, success isn’t measured in numbers. It’s measured in smiles, laughter, and the kind of moments that stay in your heart long after an activity ends.
Our Mission
We believe in supporting the people who support others. Whether you’re leading programs in a memory care unit, planning a monthly calendar, or adapting activities for residents of all abilities, we’re here for you.
We believe in the power of connection, the importance of creativity, and the joy that comes from bringing people together.
We do the work so you can do what matters most: Make the Connection.
